Para 1.17 | The objects of Elsenham Community Associa@on Charitable Incorporated Organisa@on (CIO) are to establish and run Elsenham Memorial Hall and to promote for the beneft of the inhabitants of the Parish of Elsenham (“area of beneft”) without dis@nc@on of age, disability, na@onality, gender, sexual orienta@on, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race or poli@cal, religious or other opinions the provision of facili@es for recrea@on or other leisure @me occupa@on of individuals who have need of such facili@es by reason of their youth, age, infrmity or disablement, fnancial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condi@ons of life of the said inhabitants. To act as an umbrella organisa@on for all village organisa@ons within the Parish. To produce Elsenham News to be delivered free online. |

Para 1.20 | The Memorial Hall con@nues to play an important role in the life of Elsenham and surrounding Villages, with Groups mee@ng on every day of the week. We con@nued to produce the Village Magazine “Elsenham News” which is produced by volunteers. In June 2025, due to the large expansion of the village, it no longer became viable to produce a printed copy to be delivered to each household. Elsenham News is s@ll produced and available as a .pdf and via Anyfip from the ECA website. The ECA website covers all events in Elsenham not just those held at the Memorial Hall. |

Para 1.41 | With funding in 2024 from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund of the maximum grant of £10,000, & some of our own funds we installed LED ligh@ng & infra-red hea@ng. With funding of £15,000 from the U\lesford Zero Carbon Grant scheme and some of our own funds we installed PV Solar panels and associated ba\erystorage. |
