To capture and engage with the generosity of the business community to provide a coordinated approach of tackling street homelessness in Wolverhampton. To positively change the lives of vulnerable people and street homeless by businesses, charities, and the public working together. Direct funds to target where there is a real need to find lasting solutions to our vulnerable and homeless community. To support people who feel excluded from society, to get them back on their feet, and give them hope, boost their self-esteem and confidence and eventually to feel valued members of the community once again. To continue to support people on their journey as they tackle the many challenges in life that has come along. |

Para 1.41 | To continue to manage and maintain the charity boxes with ongoing discussions for Tesco Marston Road and Asda to host a box. Leaflets with information of the Alternative Giving have been produced that mirrors the poster to distribute at Action Days with a QR code directing people to the website to encourage the public to give directly to the charity and not the person. Alternative Giving CIO leaflets were shared at an event with Faith and Community groups. Held a quiz night on the18th July at the Goose on Lichfield Street and invited all partners and businesses. This was promoted on social media and raised £261 and awareness. Facilitated and got involved with partner agencies for World Homeless Day in October, which promoted the Alternative Giving CIO and partner services. Alternative Giving CIO aligned with WMCA winter marketing campaign. Reviewed our Grant criteria and application process to reflect points raised from the Trustees through the previous Grant applications. Took part in a video with Councillor Steve Evans highlighting Alternative Giving CIO which was shared on the Council Social media platforms. Alternative Giving CIO data shared for Rough Sleeper count and took part in a photo with charity partners for Express and Star local newspaper. Rewrapped 3 Alternative Giving CIO cash collection boxes which included a QR code for the option to make a direct payment to the website. |
