Staff were placed on furlough once conformation was received from Powys County Council that the funding for the Cylch would be paused. Staff ended their furlough in August 2020. During the Summer of 2020 a new leader was appointed and the Cylch reopened in September 2020 with 5 children enrolled with one leaving during the autumn term. Two trustees wished to stand down from their roles and Rachel Ashton Roberts and Gwenllian Evans joined Helen Jones in her role as a trustee. DBS checks were carried out in accordance to the Charity Commission guidelines. Once again the Covid 19 pandemic had an effect on the Cylch, with the 2020 autumn term ending sooner than anticipated in December 2020 and reopening after half term in February 2021. During this time Cylch staff took time to provide ideas of activities that parents could undertake at home with their children as well as undertaking a number of online courses.
