Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	The Style For Stroke Foundation assists in the treatment and care of persons suffering from mental or physical illness caused by a strokes or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness. In particular, to promote and protect the physical and mental health of sufferers of strokes through the provision of financial assistance to sufferers and the organisations which support them.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	Para 1.17 and 1.19	During the period of this Report, the Trustees agreed to provide a financial grant to one organisation which work directly to support stroke survivors and their families. The sole cash grant was made to ‘Shoreditch Trust Stroke Project’. This is a well-established UK charity with a track-record of providing valuable assistance to stroke survivors and their families.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	During the period of this Report, the charity was only able to raise a small contribution to its funds. However, it was still possible to make a cash donation to a charity which work directly to support stroke survivors. This cash donation was made to ‘Shoreditch Trust Stroke Project’. This charity has been identified by the Trustees as bringing particular benefit to stroke survivors. The grant covered the cost of minibus hire for a day trip for stroke survivors from London to Southend. By supporting the organisation identified above, the Trustees believe this makes a significant difference to stroke survivors and that this in turn satisfies the core purpose of the charity. In the period since 01 April 2024 the Foundation has continued to support charities working with stroke survivors and their families with further grants. The most recent grants were made in 2024. The Foundation expects to continue providing cash grants during 2024/25 as additional funds are raised from cash donations. These donations were received as a result of two successful fundraising events (‘The Spring Ball 2024’, and the ‘Christmas Carol Charity Concert 2024’).

number of donations via Just Giving, and
Amazon.
The primary source of the Foundation’s
income will continue to be to fundraising
events, such as the very popular ‘The Spring
Ball’. One was held in late Spring of 2024 and
there are already plans in place to replicate
this success with another Spring Ball in 2025.
The only expenditure during the period was
(a) a recurring subscription to the PR
Photoshots service; and (b) the Trustees
agreed that a PR Consultant should be
reimbursed for services provided for the
benefit of the charity (‘Jumpers for Joy’
fundraising activity).
