However, it was still possible to**<br>**make a cash donation to a charity which work**<br>**directly to support stroke survivors.**<br>**This cash donation was made to ‘Shoreditch**<br>**Trust Stroke Project’. This charity has been**<br>**identified by the Trustees as bringing**<br>**particular benefit to stroke survivors. The**<br>**grant covered the cost of minibus hire for a**<br>**day trip for stroke survivors from London to**<br>**Southend.**<br>**By supporting the organisation identified**<br>**above, the Trustees believe this makes a**<br>**significant difference to stroke survivors and**<br>**that this in turn satisfies the core purpose of**<br>**the charity.**<br>**In the period since 01 April 2024 the**<br>**Foundation has continued to support charities**<br>**working with stroke survivors and their**<br>**families with further grants. The most recent**<br>**grants were made in 2024.**<br>**The Foundation expects to continue providing**<br>**cash grants during 2024/25 as additional**<br>**funds are raised from cash donations. These**<br>**donations were received as a result of two**<br>**successful fundraising events (‘The Spring Ball**<br>**2024’, and the ‘Christmas Carol Charity**<br>**Concert 2024’).**|
