Para 1.20 did turn things around at Cylch.

in children' s
whole. numbers
going into the Welsh stream for
September 2021 start year.
The year ended
with the new, larger cabin
being completed,
meaning
from September
2021 the Cylch will have a brand new, larger
and modem space to operate from.
The school have kindly let the Cylchuse the
area surrounding
the building
which has
some fantastic trees and area forthe
children to explore and leam. We are
hoping to apply forsome more grants to help
us secure the area with afence and provide
children
with some new resources for
gardening
and learning
outdoors.
Not much fundraising
occurred this last year,
we found
it hard with covid and our main
priority being the big move out ofour old
cabin so time was not on our side...we did a
pumpkin
carving competition
and the staff
organised
a Christmas
and Easter hamper.
In the past year we have had a number of
positive effects and outcomes for Cylch
Throughout
the past year numbers forCylch
children have continued
to rise.
Having the
2s up with us at Cylch in the afternoons
has
been a positive outcome as the children
have already formed a bond with a member
ofstaff and its familiar with the surroundings
which makes the transition
into the
foundation
phase smooth.
Cylch haven't advertised
for spaces this has
been one of our downfalls
but what it does
mean is that all our attendance
is from word
of mouth
and having a keen interest
in their
children
learning
welsh.
But going forward
it
would be good to advertise as we cant
always
rely on word of mouth.
Going forward this year numbers
continue
to rise. Extra staff have been taken on due
to this.
Our play leader has now gone on to
maternity
leave and returns
April 22.
Welsh courses have been put in place to
help new staff and other training has been
booked.
We have received grants from Powys which
