The museum is a regular venue for the annual Mevagissey Shanty Festwal. All activities are planned to wden the profile of the local area through the museum and its collection.

Charity no. 258616 will be dissolved as soon as the ownership of the land has been transferred to the CIO by the Land Registry and the annual return for Charity 258616 submitted on the Charity Commisslon website.
