Summary ofthe main
achievements
ofthe charity
during the year
The year ending 31"December 2023was a difiicult year for many due to
the cost of living crisis. This affected the Foundation
in that itsaw a
decrease
in revenue generated
from fund raising activities compared
to
the previous year. The foundation
received 15applications
for grants
in
total in 2023, again fewer than the previous year.
Despite the challenging
financial climate, the Foundation
was able to
benefit from several fundraising
events and activities and some very
generous
donations
and managed
to raise E4,343 during the year.
The foundation
retained f2,525.30ofunrestricted
funds at the end of
2023 which
will be used to continue our work into 2024 and beyond.
We believe that young people's
lives and physical and mental wellbeing
have been enhanced
by the work ofthe Foundation
during 2023and
look
forward
to continuing
to try to make a difference
in 2024.
