Para 1.17 | Crondall Primary School Foundation is a registered charity that was established in 2019. The aim stated in the constitution establishing the Foundation is toAdvance the education of pupils at Crondall Primary School. In accordance with the Charities Commission guidance the education of the children is interpreted by the Foundation in the broadest sense, to include all aspects of the curriculum and beyond. |

Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20 | At the start of this accounting period there was a brought forward balance of £29,735. In this accounting period, a total of £2,257 was raised through charitable activites, the main ones are detailed below: Throughout the year a number of classes hosted their own cake sales to raise funds for the Foundation. A total of £646 was raised throughout the accounting period. In November 2022, the Senior Leadership Team at Crondall Primary School hosted a movie night after school one afternoon/evening so parents could go late night Christmas Shopping. This raised £407. Three second hand uniform sales took place and raised £170. We held one ‘break the rules’ mufti event throughout the accounting period where children pay £1 to wear mufti plus an additional 50p for each rule they break e.g. wearing nail varnish; colouring their hair etc. A total of £338 was raised. A Christmas card fundraiser where children designed their own Christmas cards raised £228. The foundation continues to receive Amazon smile donations. For this accounting period they totalled £189. There was a ‘guess the weight of the pumpkin’ competition before Halloween which raised £8.00. A KS1 pupil raised £13 from a craft stool sale. GiftAid was claimed which totalled £258. The total donations received during this accounting period totalled £7,494 through family/carer donations. The remaining £3,713 of other charitable activities purchases included: Purchasing from Amazon and Consortium, the remainder of class specific outdoor learning equipment through for Years R, 1 and 2 from the money raised from their sponsored walks in the last two previous accounting periods

The installation of artificial grass and fence and gate for outside the Year 1 classroom by Church Crookham and Fleet’s men shed A wormery for the school allotment
