Birdcage Walk and Statue Project
Project summary
The project has developed from a stand-alone erection of a statue of King Athelstan in central Malmesbury into the regeneration of Birdcage Walk, with reference to the original St Pauls Church (now demolished) and associated landscaping.

The Trustees also presented a Project update to Malmesbury Town Council Planning Committee (Feb 24). Malmesbury Town Council are major stakeholders in the project as they lease Birdcage Walk and so their approval of the scheme is vital to its success.
