The charity participates in events to promote the understanding of the Anglo-Saxon period and Aethelstan, First King of All England in particular. It has created a website to promote understanding of both. It is fundraising to create artefacts with relevance to the period that will encourage interest and understanding of the time when the United Kingdom first came into being.

Objects: For The Public Benefit, The Advancement Of Education Of The Public In The Subject Of Anglo-Saxon History In England By Educating The Public About The Reign Of Aethelstan, The First King Of All England, And His Legacy By The Provision Of Lectures, Workshops, Talks And By Any Other Means As The Trustees Shall Determine, And By The Preservation, Restoration And Exhibition Of Objects Relating To Anglo-Saxon History And The Creation Of Works Of Art Having Reference To Anglo-Saxon History And Art.
