TAR

Summary of the objects of the
charity set out in its governing
document
Summary of the main activities
undertaken for the public
benefit in relation to these
objects (include within this
section the statutory
declaration that trustees have
had regard to the guidance
issued by the Charity
Commission on public benefit)
To advance non-conformist Evangelical Christianity in England
for the beneft of the public, in particular but not exclusively by
the provision of or support for the provision of Christian
education and training, ministry, mission and distribution of
literature to enlighten others about the Christian faith.
We are set up to further Evangelical Christianity throughout England
through grant making and Christian education, especially for the training of
evangelical Christian leaders. We give financial help to individuals to
enable them to receive evangelical Christian education and training.
People do not have to be members of the organisation in order to benefit –
our criteria are based largely on the individual’s potential for current and
future Christian ministry and leadership.
Our trustees have read and always have regard to the guidance issued by
the Charity Commission on public benefit. We examine our plans for the
year, in terms of the number of individuals to support through grants, and
how they qualify for such support in light of this guidance at our trustees’
meetings.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main We provided grants, totalling £9,555 in support of individuals who are achievements of the charity undergoing training in evangelical Christian leadership in the year up to during the year 31/08/2023 and due to some significant private gifts managed to end up with a good positive balance in the bank at the end of the year.

Section E Financial review

March 2012

TAR

5

Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves

In our first four years we have not operated on the basis of retaining a reserve, but we do see the benefit of keeping a reserve to guard against the loss of a regular donation or a ‘trough’ in the level of expected donations. We still aim to calculate such a reserve for future years

Details of any funds materially in deficit

none

Further financial review details (Optional information)

You may choose to include additional information, where relevant about:

Most of our donations are from individuals who have a desire to see new evangelical Christian leaders supported while they receive some training. We encourage those who have benefitted from similar training in the past to consider making regular donations to support others, but have not performed other formal fundraising activities.
