March **2012**

5

**Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves**

In our first four years we have not operated on the basis of retaining a reserve, but we do see the benefit of keeping a reserve to guard against the loss of a regular donation or a ‘trough’ in the level of expected donations. We still aim to calculate such a reserve for future years

**Details of any funds materially in deficit**

none

## **Further financial review details (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant about:

- the charity’s principal sources of funds (including any fundraising);

Most of our donations are from individuals who have a desire to see new evangelical Christian leaders supported while they receive some training. We encourage those who have benefitted from similar training in the past to consider making regular donations to support others, but have not performed other formal fundraising activities.

- how expenditure has supported the key objectives of the charity;

- investment policy and objectives including any ethical investment policy adopted.
