We support another charity 'Jesus in Action Charities Friendly Society' (Reg. No. 1489) in Guyana, South America. Both charities have similar objectives: 1. Provision for needy children through a Children's Home near Parika, 2. Provision of medical care through an eye clinic in Linden, and 3. Setting up a Permaculture Farm.The UK charity is also open to providing similar services elsewhere.
Objects: 1. Objects1.1the Objects Of The Charity Are:(a) The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty For The Public Benefit By Providing Grants To And Supporting The Work Of Jesus In Action Charities No 1489 (A Guyanese-Registered Friendly Society) And In Particular But Not Limited To Providing Residential Accommodation For Children Affected By Poverty Both In The UK And Overseas.(b) The Advancement Of Health For The Public Benefit By Providing Grants To And Supporting The Work Of The Medical Sub-Section Of Jesus In Action Charities No 1489 And By Providing Medical Services, Primarily But Not Limited To, Ophthalmological Services To Individuals Living In Rural Areas With Particular Emphasis On Guyana.(c) To Advance The Protection Of The Environment By Promoting The System Of Permaculture Through The Permaculture Sub-Section Of Jesus In Action Charities No 1489, And By Further Educating Individuals, In Particular Young People, As To Its Benefits And By Providing Training And Support To Farmers In The Advancement And Experience Of Permaculture Techniques Both In The UK And Overseas. 1.2 This Provision May Be Amended By Special Resolution But Only With The Prior Written Consent Of The Commission
