The AGM was hekl on 7 March 2024 wilh 21 members pr&sent. Two trustees resigned, as required by our constbtution and were then re appointed. Three ne•V trustees were elected. At the end of the reporting year there were 11 trustees. There are 50 paKI members of the EHCT. During the reporting year solicitors have been drafting an agreament regarding the lease of the necessary land and infrastructure to the Ewyas Harold Ccrfnmon Water Sc¢iety EHCWS). Meanwhile the EHCWS manag8S the water suppty including all the finances. During the reporting year the Trust has deveh)ped policies in relation to cycling and horse riding. A resenles policy has also been drafted. Though still to be finalised rt has been incorporated in the budget for 2023124. During the reporting year the ownershy registration of the Trust's lands ffinally came through. And the Trusl was grfted a field11.25 acres} adjoining the ComrrKn which is In the Groundwat8r Prot8Ction Zone for the water supply. A Deed of Easement for access was drawn up between the EHCT and the owner of land adjoining the Common where permission had been granted for residential use. During wet weath8r this can create muddy condjtions on some well used paths. For Ihis reason we have developed policies restricting cycling and horse riding. We are also looking into some limiled path improvements lo provide better access for l(Kal walkers. Unfortunately some of the svJns installed at the 3 main ontrances (to indicate ttlat cyding, horse rhjing, lohting fires and camping is generally not permitted and encouraging adherence to the countryside code as Tegards dog walking) have been removed. We are in contsct with the neighbourhood police regarding this and other a￿tt5￿la1 tEhav>our. Longer temi. we are planning to repEace the notKeboards at the entrances. Section D Achievements and performance EHCT has continued to provide a welcome place for members of the publ1¢ to walk and relax. The Common is ¥￿11 used.
