It has been a very productive year for the charity. The charity conducted 5 courses, one face to face (Frimley continuous regional anaesthesia course 2022) and 4 virtually (CPD updates course November 2022, and 3 other Virtual conferences for benefit of military doctors in Ukraine). The virtual webinar on updates in anaesthesia, which was co-hosted by the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland, which was Summary of the main activities undertaken for the streamed all over the world. Following the war in Ukraine, the charity public benefit in relation to these objects (include within recognised the lack of trauma & life support management education this section the statutory declaration that trustees have among the Ukrainian doctors and hence started a Ukraine appeal had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity fundraiser through JustGiving. The charity was then able to organise Commission on public benefit) virtual and on the ground training to the Ukrainian doctors on immediate trauma management in partnership with Stichting Safe Management and Resuscitation of Trauma Medical Aid, a charity registered in Netherlands. All proceeds of the Ukraine Facebook fundraiser and JustGiving fundraiser were donated to Stichting Safe Management charity, to help in on the ground training for civilians and combat medical doctors.

The charity also approved a personal grant to Dr.Iryna Rybinkina, who
has successfully established a network for education in military first aid
training for medical professionals in war stricken Ukraine. Dr. Iryna
Rybinkina – a Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist from UK, who
resigned from her job and flew to Ukraine, where she is currently based
to deliver training and guidance for Ukrainian doctors and military.
The personal grant was approved to support her efforts in delivering
training and to supply Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK) to the medics and
military on the front line. Grants were also approved for Dr.Inna
Kuchynska to conduct 3 virtual online training courses/conferences for
Ukrainian doctors. The virtual events were streamed for free and
attended by hundreds of Ukrainian doctors and are uploaded onto the
Progress platformon Youtube. The charity also donated training

equipment to Zambia (University teaching Hospital, Zambia) , Ukraine (Romadonov Neurosurgery Institute, PL Shupyk University Hospital and Feofaniya Military Hospital) and India (Kilpauk Medical college & Madras Medical college). The charity also donated training equipment (VR headsets) to enhance training in regional anaesthesia at Frimley Park Hospital

Section D Achievements and performance

The charity conducted 5 successful courses and also a fundraiser event Summary of the main achievements of the charity to support trauma education to the frontline doctors in Ukraine. The during the year charity approved educational grants to deliver and to set up a trauma educational network in Ukraine and also partnered with another charity in Netherlands to deliver trauma and resuscitation education for the frontline doctors in Ukraine. Also, grants were approved to conduct online virtual conferences for the benefit of Ukrainian military doctors in performing regional anaesthesia. Training equipment- ultrasound machines, bronchoscopes, videolaryngoscopes, VR headsets, simulators were all donated to Hospitals in Zambia, Ukraine, India and United Kingdom to enhance training among anaesthetists, which in turn achieves the charity’s objectives of promoting education, to preserve and protect the health of the public.

The expenditure was to pay for course related stationery, faculty
expenses, speaker fees, machine/equipment delivery charges, course
venue charges and webhosting charges for virtual webinars to the
Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland (AAGBI) and the
Progress Platform (Ukraine). Donations were made to another charity in
Netherlands (Stichting Safe Management and Resuscitation of Trauma
Medical Aid) to support trauma education and also an approved personal
grant to establish a Trauma educational network. Grants to conduct and
cover the costs of virtual educational webinars. Donation of vital
equipment and training simulators and their transportation hospitals in
Zambia, India, Ukraine and United Kingdom
