Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

The charity conducted 2 courses, one face to face (Frimley continuous regional anaesthesia course 2021) and one virtually (CPD updates course). The virtual webinar on updates in anaesthesia, which was cohosted by the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland, which was streamed all over the world. Following the war in Ukraine, the charity recognised the lack of trauma & life support management education among the Ukranian doctors and hence started a Ukraine appeal fundraiser through JustGiving. The charity was then able to organise virtual and on the ground training to the Ukrainian doctors on immediate trauma management in partnership with Stichting Safe Management and Resuscitation of Trauma Medical Aid, a charity registered in Netherlands.

The charity also approved a personal grant to Dr.Iryna Rybinkina, who has successfully established a network for education in military first aid training for medical professionals in war stricken Ukraine. Dr. Iryna Rybinkina – a Consultant Cardiothoracic Anaesthetist from UK, who resigned from her job and flew to Ukraine, where she is currently based to deliver training and guidance for Ukrainian doctors and military. The personal grant was approved to support her efforts in delivering training and to supply Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK) to the medics and military on the front line.
