The heating has been repaired
The Community Rehab team have replaced the downstairs floor.
NHS training – went well & will come again –
Looking forward to kitchen finishing off. When kitchen finished upstairs will be complete and the focus will be on the lower floor.
June does a great job – raising funds and looking after the building. We need more volunteers to help with activities and would welcome new trustees from the community and from Greentop Circus.
We will ask local school to share information and ask other local groups how they attract volunteers. The older people just prefer to come and participate. When the youth club start again parents may get involved.
It is recognised that the increase in legislation is off-putting to volunteers who would have organised activities in past years. We would be glad to have a bit of help for practical work which would not involve responsibility. 3 Finance The Accounts for year ending 31 March 2022: current A/c £4951.41 Savings A/c £5420.99 - the books are still with Steve Randall for external check. As at date of this meeting 27 June 2022: c/a £3,913.14 Saving ac £5420.99 Cash: £352.20 We still need to pay balance of the flooring, the electricians and regular bills.
It is not clear what the result is of the CIL and Ward Pot applications as they appear to have been combined by the LAC team and a decision has not yet been reached.
Cllr Peter Price to investigate.
