Connécted charity The Spoor Memorial Fund {Registered Charity number 207947) was established by a deed dated 19 April 1926 in memory of Mrs Elizabeth Spoor for the relief of poor widows or elderly people who are regular attendants at Campsboume. If, in the opinion of the trustees, who themselves are all assooated with the Church, there are no such persons in need of assistance, they may distnbute the Income of the fund to vthomever they choose. The fund is a permanent endowment invested in £14.654.95 4.25% Treasury Stock 0711212027. The stock is held by The London Baptist Property Board Limit8d, as C￿StodIan trustee. The market value was taken as at 2910412024 S. Baptlst Union Pension deficit Thè Baptist Union announced that they have s'gned an agreement with the insurance company Just Group I'JUSYI to securé DB Plan members, pension benefits. This agr88m8nt is reférred to as a 'buy-In policy,. It follows a similar agreement with Just in 2019 that covered most pensions in payment at that time The combined agreements mean that Just are now providing finanaal backing for all DB pensions provided through the Scheme's DB Plan. The costs of such policies are largely driven by finanaal markets and these have moved substantially in the Scheme's favour, particxjlariy over the course of the last few months. As a result, this transath'on t8kes the Scheme out of a shortfall position for the first time in two decades. Although risks remain, the Baptist Union and the Trustee have agre8d that defiat recovery contributions from each participating employer in the D8 Plan will reduce to just £1 per month from August 2022. 6. The Church buildings In The Campst)oume ￿rnp￿Se the buildings at 1-3 The Campsboume, induding Flats 1 and 3 on the top floor, and the adjoining Church Hall.
