| Structure, | Governance | |||||
| And Management: | The Trustees administer the funds and seek from the general public opportunities |
to assist | ||||
| with charitable projects in the local area and within the Lions organisation. |
The | members | ||||
| ofthe Club decide which requests should be considered for funding and the amount |
||||||
| thereof. | ||||||
| The Trustees are aware ofthe risks assumed in the operation ofthe Trust |
and have | |||||
| considerable experience offundraising activities. The annual fireworks display |
is | the | ||||
| largest ofthese and is subjected to health and safety assessment. Insurance |
is carried to | |||||
| cover all activities and it is considered that with this the risks to the Trust |
and its | Trustees | ||||
| are significantly reduced. |

| No induction programme is proved for new Trustees as they are trained by |
the existing | |||||
| office-holders in the operational procedures required to be undertaken. |

| The Rayleigh Lions (CIO) Constitution was adopted on the recommendation |
ofthe Lions | |||||
| Clubs Multiple District 105 without amendment. |
||||||
| The Trustees and club members all agreed last year to transfer all the assets from The |
||||||
| Lions Club ofRayleigh Charity No. 2021517(which has now been closed |
