|And Management:||The Trustees administer<br>the funds and seek from the general public opportunities||||to assist|
|||with charitable<br>projects in the local area and within the Lions organisation.||The|members||
|||ofthe Club decide which requests<br>should be considered<br>for funding<br>and the amount|||||
|||thereof.|||||
|||The Trustees are aware ofthe risks assumed<br>in the operation ofthe Trust|and have||||
|||considerable<br>experience offundraising<br>activities.<br>The annual<br>fireworks<br>display|||is|the|
|||largest ofthese and is subjected to health and safety assessment.<br>Insurance||is carried to|||
|||cover all activities<br>and it is considered<br>that with this the risks to the Trust|and its||Trustees||
|||are significantly<br>reduced.|||||
|||No induction<br>programme<br>is proved for new Trustees as they are trained<br>by||the existing|||
|||office-holders<br>in the operational<br>procedures<br>required<br>to be undertaken.|||||
|||The Rayleigh<br>Lions (CIO) Constitution<br>was adopted<br>on the recommendation||ofthe Lions|||
|||Clubs Multiple<br>District 105 without<br>amendment.|||||
|||The Trustees<br>and club members<br>all agreed last year to transfer<br>all the assets from The|||||
|||Lions Club ofRayleigh<br>Charity No. 2021517(which has now been closed||down)||to the|
|||new charity status ofRayleigh Lions Club (C.I.O.)Charity No. 1184449|||||
