in the
past year, especially as the Quartet Grant has
provided
funding for our premises
during this
'start up' period. YMS members
are welcome
tojoin the Table Tennis group. The group was
started
in November 2021with 2 quality tables
provided
by Yate Town Council. YMS built a
protective boxto prevent the tables becoming
damaged.
Thanks tothe Quartet grant we now have a
third Table Tennis Table. This has allowed
session numbers to grow.
Although
last year we considered
opening a
second Table Tennis Session we have, not as
yet, attracted 10potential
players on a waiting
list. We will only start another session if
numbers
require it and a group leader is
available to run the session.
