Thaqwa-The Story.
By the blessing of Almighty Allah, Thaqwa Masjid and Madrasah has completed another successful year. We thank almighty Allah for this and all our well-wishers who have supported our projects.
With the blessing of Allah (SWT) and through your kind prayers and contributions, Thaqwa Masjid & Madrasah were established on the blessed day of Friday 12th Rabi-ul Aww’al 1431 Hijrah/26th February 2010AD, under the supervision of late Hazrat Maulana Sheikh Abdul Aziz Saheb (RA).
Thaqwa is a multi-purpose English speaking institution which is located at the heart of the diverse communities of Birmingham and serves people of every walk of life. In addition to our community services, there are 313 students (adults/children and male and female) who are being taught by a staff of 31 dedicated people.
Trust Board of Thaqwa Masjid & Madrasah consists of Badrul Haque, Abdur Rahman, Mohammed Mobeen, Sister Rahima Islam and Muhammad Salek.
We have a dedicated team of 13 volunteers. We are really grateful to all of them for their services.
Brother Syed N H Shah of Protax Chartered Certified Accountants, 371 Bordesley Green Rd, Birmingham, B9 5RP, has prepared our account for 2019-2020.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, no major development/maintenance works were carried out. Insha Allah, basement will be renovated in 2022.

This report is made solely to the Charity's Iruslees. as a body. in accordance with the terms of our engagement leller dated 1 June 2016. 11 has been released lo the Iruslees on the basis that this report shall not be copied, referred lo or disclosed, in whole (save for the Iruslees, own internal purposes or as may be required by law or by a eompelenl regulator) or in part. wilhoul our prior wrillen consent.
