During the Coronavirus Pandemic 2020.
We are all aware that the Coronavirus crisis
has had a drastic impact on children lives
especially from low income backgrounds. Apart
from carrying on our support towards children
through phone calls, video calls and safe social
distancing meetings. We have started an open
the completions to keep children active during
these hard times.

We ran a community engagement survey to inform us of the demographics of our user-base. We asked parents, on behalf of the children, to fill out the survey to tell us their views. We received responses from a total of 70 families, this does not represent .our entire School -The biggest age group who attend classes are 12-13 year olds (35%) - Most of the families have (lived locally for more than five years (76%) -Students have come from areas in and around Birmingham to come to our School including Acocks Green, Boardsley Green, Edgbaston, Hall Green, Hardsworth, King’s Heath, Moseley, Northfield, Selly Oak, Small Heath, .Solihull, Stetchford, Wolverhampton, and Yardley 18th December 2020 Our aims We aim to advance education for young people for public benefit in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. We are particularly focused on supporting socioeconomically disadvantaged students, who are less likely to succeed at school. The Covid-19 crisis has further increased the educational attainment gap between more well-off and poorer students. Loneliness and social isolation has been called a ‘concurrent epidemic’, particularly among BAME and migrant communities.
