We are particularly focused on supporting socioeconomically disadvantaged students, who are less likely to succeed at school. The Covid-19 crisis has further increased the educational attainment gap between more well-off and poorer students. Loneliness and social isolation has been called a ‘concurrent epidemic’, particularly among BAME and migrant communities.
