Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN, AND ENHANCE HERITAGE SITES IN TORQUAY AND THE TORBAY AREA FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL PEOPLE AND THE NATION AT LARGE, AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE HISTORICAL, ARCHITECTURAL AND NATURAL HERITAGE WITHIN THE SITES IN THE FORM OF BUILDINGS OF PARTICULAR HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST, ART AND ARTEFACTS, GARDENS AND DESIGNED LANDSCAPE.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.	COVID HAS RESTRICTED ALMOST ALL EDUCATIONAL AND ARCHITECTURAL WORK DURUNG THE GIVEN PERIOD.
Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit	ALLTRUSTEES ARE AWARE OF THE GUIDANCE ON PUBLIC BENEFIT ISSUED BY THE CHARITY COMMISSION AND WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ABIDE BY THIS IN THE CONDUCT OF OUR BUSINESS. WHERE AS A NEW CHARITY WE HAVE HAD ANY UNCERTAINTY WE HAVE SOUGHT GUIDANCE FROM THE CHARITY COMMISSION AND/OR ERRED ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION.

Achievements and Performance

	Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	DURING THE PERIOD, THE CHARITY HAS BEEN FORCED TO BE EFFECTIVELY DORMANT. ONLY RECENTLY HAVE THE TRUSTEES RESTARTED ACTIVITIES. THE REASONS FOR THIS HAVE BEEN PRESSURE FROM TROLLS RELATED TO A COURT CASE INVOLVING THE BBC CELEBRITY CHRIS PACKHAM AND THE CHAIRMAN. THE CHARITY WILL RESUME ACTIVITIES FULLY IN THE SUMMER OF 2023.

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	THE CHARITY’S FINANCES ARE HEALTHY AND WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN SO. THE CHARITY HAS NOT CLAIMED ANY GRANT MONIES OR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE.
Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held	WHILE WE HAVE NO FORMAL RESERVES POLICY, WITH THE AGREEMENT OF ALL TRUSTEES WE HAVE KEPT SOME FUNDS IN RESERVE UNTIL THE RESTART.
