To advance the education of the public, particularly but not exclusively to Ghana and UK, by the exhibition of James Barnor's catalogue of works and the reproduction of and sale of James Barnor's works.To promote art and culture for the benefit of the public through the exhibition of James Barnor's works. To advance ans support the work of other educational charities and training of young artists.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:-1. To Advance The Education Of The Public In The UK, Ghana And In Other Parts Of The World, By The Exhibiting And Educating About James Barnor’s Catalogue Of Works;2. To Promote Art For The Benefit Of The Public Through The Exhibition Of James Barnor’s Photographic Work;3. The Advancement Of Education For The Public Benefit In Particular In Ghana And Other African Countries By Supporting The Work Of Suitable Institution(s) In Ghana And Africa As Determined By The Trustees;4. The Relief Of Children With A Disability Or At Other Social Disadvantage In Ghana And Other African Countries By Supporting The Work Of Suitable Institution(s) In Ghana And Africa As Determined By The Trustees;5. The Advancement Of Education And Training Of Young Artistic Photographers In The UK And Africa For The Public Benefit; And6. The Advancement Of Arts, Culture And Heritage For The Public Benefit With Particular Reference To That Of Ghana And Other African Countries And In Furtherance Of This Object But Not Otherwise To Support Selected Work Of The Heritage And Cultural Society Of Africa (hacsa), Which Is A ‘not For Profit’ Organisation Based In Ghana, At The Discretion Of The Trustees.
