Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	The Cylch’s aim is provides Welsh medium sessional day care to local parents. Ti a Fi sessions also give opportunities for parents / carers to meet whilst their babies and young children play, carry out activities and listen to stories and songs through the medium of Welsh. The Charity previously employed 2 members of staff however, there was a lack of interest and numbers were extremely low. Both staff subsequently moved on to new jobs. Marketing work was carried out regularly however in challenging circumstances and as a result of Covid-19 Cylch Meithrin Tredegar has voluntarily suspended its registration with CIW. The Cylch has remained closed over the last financial year due to a change of Trustees. The new Trustees aim to re- open the Cylch Meithrin this year when running structures are in place and new staff are appointed.
