the principles of good citizenship, serving
the community in moral and welfare matters
and supporting and encouraging young
people and those in need by providing relief
and humanitarian aid.
The advancement of health by preventing
avoidable blindness and assisting disabled
people to lead independent lives or manage
health issues.

The Charity and its Members have given
both physical and financial support to local
disabled sports groups including disabled
sailing and Care Homes and arranged the
purchase of household items for individuals
in and around Sleaford who were in need.
This includes assistance to purchase a
mobility scooter and furniture. Financial
donations were also made to several local
Emergency Services and to local Air
Ambulance and Blood Bike Charities, as well
as UK appeals for Sightsavers and Brain
Tumour research.
Donations to joint appeals with other Lions
Clubs were made to build a school and to
international appeals through Lions
International for disaster relief in countries in
South America, Africa, the Philippines,
Japan and several US States
