The charity was formed in June 2019. Three existing village charities were due to be closed and their funds transferred to this charity.

Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

During the period the trustees focused on the completion of the transfer of assets from the 3 closed charities. All bank assets have now been successfully transferred to the CIO account and previous accounts closed. All investment units held with the CCLA have been transferred to the charity and consolidated into one investment account.

Terms of reference have been set up and publicised in the community and a number of grants have been made.

The trustees are still to determine a policy on reserves, which it will do in the forthcoming year, now that all funds and investments have been transferred and we have a clearer picture of our annual income.
