Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The current major project is to raise funds for the restoration of the organ, which has been approved by the Church of England. The cost is estimated at £75,000.00. The contract has now been awarded to Peter Wood and Sons and the organ is currently dismantled and being repaired in Yorkshire. Likely reinstalment will complete in February 2025. We are considering a disabled access ramp for the church for 2025 and a project to install a disabled lavatory in the church for the following year. Our aim is to broaden the appeal of the Church to the wider public beyond just the use of the building for worship. |
