bolster its ability to undertake projects

ensure key posts amongst Trustees are
in place during the recent transition in
Trustees with a new Chair now in post.
We have developed a strategy for
recruiting new members to the
organisation to help take forward key
activities overs the coming year,
supported by Trustees.
Planning is underway to develop a new
post within the Charity to facilitate
social media activity and outreach to
promote upcoming activity by ASAP
UK. We are also looking to recruit a
Trustee to take over the role of
Treasury and lead fund raising activity.
Additionally, we are working towards
relaunching our Manifesto Audit in
advance of the upcoming general
election and will be recruiting a project
manager to support this work and
engage with a range of academics to
contribute to this activity.
We have been working towards
redeveloping our seminar series after
the success of previous virtual
seminars with a range of panels on
Addressing Poverty After the Pandemic:
challenges and solutions as well as The
Climate Crisis and Children’s Lives:
poverty, health and child rights.

reach of our network to engage with a
variety of Learned Associations such as
the Social Policy Association, British
Sociology Association amongst others –

Our fundraising relies on two separate, but
linked, approaches:

to support our events programme and
