In preparation for the Festival, The Consort of the Cumbria Opera Group rEorniea 2 sm211 COVID-friendly Christnias Conceri in December 2020. This w2S done ro raise Fund5 For rhe upcoming Fesrival, bur more generally ro raise awarene55 OE who we are and ro give rhe residents of Kendal something to smile about after a difficult year. The Festival Launch Night rook ple in June 2021, Fearuring three soloisrs from rhe upcoming Fesrival. Each event OF the Festival was introduced between singers, performances, with a large and enthusiastic crowd in atteiidance.
