Para 1.20 | The charity were successful applying for and received two grants exceeding £4,500, which were used to contribute towards our Christmas activities. The trustees have also committed again to funding entries for Total Warrior, the Great North Run and the Great North Swim in 2023. This year charity managed to organise and subsidise 131 different activities which included trampolining, gaming and swimming. For these subsidised sessions we sold c3,700 tickets and received £26,000 in fees. Membership of the Facebook group is presently in excess of 3,400 members, so it has grown by nearly 1,000 since the previous year. We have also looked to re-structure to bring in some new Trustees to better prepare us to increase our scope and longevity. The aim will be to have new Trustees with varied experience in the new year. As part of the restructure two Trustees have resigned. |
