|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The charity were successful applying for and<br>received two grants exceeding £4,500,<br>which were used to contribute towards our<br>Christmas activities.  The trustees have also<br>committed again to funding entries for Total<br>Warrior, the Great North Run and the Great<br>North Swim in 2023.<br>This year charity managed to organise and<br>subsidise 131 different activities which<br>included trampolining, gaming and<br>swimming.  For these subsidised sessions<br>we sold c3,700 tickets and received £26,000<br>in fees.<br>Membership of the Facebook group is<br>presently in excess of 3,400 members, so it<br>has grown by nearly 1,000 since the<br>previous year.<br>We have also looked to re-structure to bring<br>in some new Trustees to better prepare us to<br>increase our scope and longevity.  The aim<br>will be to have new Trustees with varied<br>experience in the new year.  As part of the<br>restructure two Trustees have resigned.|
