On 14th March 2020 all services and mid-week activities were postponed until further notice as a precautionary measure against coronavirus. Sunday Church Services re-started on 6[th] June 2021 and were held in compliance with the Covid-19 rules although midweek activities remained closed until later in the year.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

Activities up to Covid lockdown include: Regular public worship, prayer and Bible study, Baptisms, Communion, Evangelism, Pastoral care, Young church and Creche facilities, mid-week devotional and social activities. The Church normally supports the local Food Bank and charitable purposes locally, nationally and internationally and serves the local community in running pre-school Ducklings groups, primary school age Messy Church activities, mid-week devotional and social meetings and Night Shelter for the homeless, although these activities were suspended after March 2020 due to Covid-19.

Family services and outreach community events and outings are normally held throughout the year but were suspended after March 2020 until later in the year due to Covid-19

Throughout the months of the Covid-19 lockdown, church and congregation members kept in touch using e-mail, text and telephone and continued to financially support the church as they were able. The Trustees have read the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit, and are satisfied that the activities outlined above clearly demonstrate that the charity is providing a benefit to the public.
