The charity’s main activity was the provision of free trishaw bicycle rides for elderly men and women, from care homes, sheltered housing accommodation or individuals who contacted us. The rides were on quiet lanes or in park settings and allowed time for passengers to enjoy the environment, be outside in the fresh air and also enjoy the opportunity to interact socially with the rider and companion. |

Para 1.20 | The charity took delivery of the Triobike Trishaw in February 2021 and we commenced rides with passengers in August 2021. We undertook 70 passenger rides in the year to 31 March 2023. We provided regular rides to care homes, sheltered housing communities and a number of individuals. Feedback from the passengers and care homes remained very positive, even when trips were of modest length, and appeared to contribute positively to their well- being. The charity makes no charge for the rides. In addition to the 4 Trustees, our 2 volunteers kindly continued to assist us. |
