Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
To further or benefit the residents of Roxby and the surrounding villages, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.
To establish or secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.

The Trustee has raised the funds required to purchase the Chapel to use as the community centre and legal matters are ongoing with our solicitors.

North Lincs Council has awarded £115,000 and The Roxby Cum Risby Parish Council has awarded us £10,000 Both of these have been paid into our bank account and should for any reason the purchase of the building fail to complete then these funds would be returned.
The balance of £2561.11 is from our own fundraising efforts and would be retained by the group to further the overall objectives
