charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 This year has been another quiet year for
the charity and it’s activity. We have still
felt the impact of the COVID pandemic with
our venues for our usual support groups
and coffee mornings / fundraising events
unable to accommodate us for various
reasons e.g. with one of them being a
COVID Vaccination centre. We are
working hard with them to reconvene these
sessions as soon as it is possible.
We have, however, continued our online
presence through social media and direct
messaging when people have needed it.
This has enabled us to keep in touch with
our families offering them support when
needed, especially when going through this
particularly difficult period of time.
The Trustees are working hard to be ready
for when our groups and activities can
return to normal and are preparing to be
ready as soon as we are given the green
light by our venues.

Financial Review

----- Start of picture text -----
Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 There has not been much financial
financial position at the end movement throughout this year because of
of the period the lack of activity that has taken place.
Our only expense has been our public
liability insurance (£274) which we felt was
imperative to keep in place so we can be
ready for whenever activities can resume
again. We have continued to be very
fortunate that our rent has been kept on a
‘pay as you use’ basis, and we have been
offered free storage throughout the year for
our belongings. This has meant that the
loss of fundraising opportunities has not
been so severely felt as we have not
incurred other expenses.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 We have worked hard since setting up the
policy for holding reserves local project, and then when it became
stating why they are held officially a charity, to keep our bank
balance as healthy as possible to withstand
the costs we incur during the year such as
insurance, rent etc. We had been looking
to reinvest some of this reserve back into
the charity’s community, such as training
sessions for volunteers, more family events
etc which we have started to plan for but
again because of the difficulties of the last
year we have been unable to arrange
anything, but we are ready to start doing
this as soon as we are able.
Amount of reserves held Para 1.22 £ 6,348.28 bank balance as of 31 [st] March
2022

Explanation of any Para 1.23 We are not currently concerned about the
uncertainties about the viability of the charity and look forward to
charity continuing as a going returning to supporting our families face to
concern face when we are able. We also look
forward to being able to start fundraising
again and using this to help our families
after the last few turbulent years.
