ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
It has been a little of a quiet year for the charity this year, but still has been a positive one with support still being shown for us.
Our biggest fun raiser this year was our wonderful Summer fun day which was held at Spondon cricket club.It was a fabulous summer day with bouncy castles, garden games and local business stalls. We managed to raise £590 and with the success of the event will be doing another one.
Teagan Buttterflys have been using the pool for sensory swims throughout the year and which has proven to be popular with their clients. With all the money being donated into the charity, so far they have donated around £700 and will continue to support us. It's great to have 2 charities working together which provide a place for SEN children and their families to swim.
We have also had the super knitting skills from Lorraine once again knitting away to raise money for us. For Christmas we had some super Christmas hedgehogs and home made and tree decorations which raised £65. At Easter the knitting needles came out again and had fabulous chicks made all with a little chocolate treat placed inside raising £45.
Sadly one of our swimmers passed away this year at the wonderful age of 90, One of his friends donated £50 to the charity as it was one of Brains favorite places to come with his daughter. When they came for a swim they donated money to the charity which came to £140.
The Easy funding continues to keep giving, we are so pleased to see so many people still using it and helping us out with their shopping buys. It's great to see that people shopping on Amazon are also donating to the charity . £168 raised so far.
We cant thank people enough for the support they show the charity and their generosity so just amazing.
