Para 1.20 The charity has continued working
hard despite the difculties
caused by the spread of Covid-19
to attract funding both in the UK
and internationally. In addition
during the course of the year as
mentioned previously a North
London school, one of the frst to
open its doors to Syrian refugee
children, took the decision to
devote all the proceeds of its
charitable activities for 3 years to
the charity. Discussions are
underway with other interested
schools to possibly follow their
example.

Last year was the first and largely
consisted in consolidating the

objectives set trustee body to provide a firm
base going forward. This year the
trustee board continued to expand
following the guidelines laid down
in terms of inclusivity, gender
balance and attracting younger
people.The spread of potential
foundation donors continued to
increase both in the UK and
internationally. Even where the
charity was not successful in
attracting donations it was
encouraging to receive
complements from experienced
donors regarding the
professionalism of the approach as
well as the relevance of the
mission.
