We continue to develop relevant policies and procedures as our charity grows but our main consideration at this point is ensuring that there is a high level of trust with the head teachers of the schools and their communities we aim to support. This is enhanced by ensuring regular contact via email and whattsapp as well as reciprocal visits. We continue to ensure that we have receipts and breakdown of all expenditure but are also aware that this is an area that needs further attention.

Section C Objectives and activities

To further develop long-term educational prospects for the communities of St John Leonard’s School and Archbishop Kiwanuka School – both situated in the Mpigi District, Western Uganda. Section D Achievements and performance

Whilst the charity has been waiting for an imminent and large donation to Summary of the main occur, research has occurred regarding best means for supporting the achievements of the charity schools and their communities. In December through British Council during the year Funding both the head teachers of our two key schools were able to visit and meet with thee trustees to discuss possible future projects. Since this time however with the outbreak of Covid 19, priorities have changed and we are now focused on supporting basic needs of members of the community and the upkeep / rebuilding of two of St John Leonard’s School classrooms. The charity has been used to send some sponsorship money to support children at the schools and there has also been fundraising efforts which have raised additional money.
