The Charity stepped in and purchased Christmas gifts for P’s two children, and bought |
| Christmas dinner for the family. To help P further, the Charity purchased a two food shops which enabled P to become a little more financially stable. N N started at the Breakfast Drop Ins in 2019, and was struggling with alcohol dependency issues. N wasn’t ready to tackle his issues, and it took until 2022 for him to ask for help from the Charity. A caseworker was assigned to N, and they supported N with travel to and from appointments to seek guidance and help for a detox. N eventually went in to a detox programme, and continued his recovery in a two year Rehabilitation Programme. N is now in a better place in life, and has gone on to mentor other veterans with substance abuse problems. |
