Para 1.20 | During the year the Trust collected donations totalling £4295 The Trust gave grants to the school totalling £5930 for the following: The science department were able to buy equipment for the forensic science course – this enabled a cross curricular event for both the science students who undertook forensic collection of evidence from a crime scene set up by the production arts students and for the media students who filmed the scene. The PE department for equipment to better resource the new outside MAGA pitch as well as repair of gym equipment. Art Department for supplies for developing the new costume design department. Pastoral department received fund to redecorate and buy appropriate furniture for the pastoral space as well as funds to buy a phone app to investigate its efficacy in helping students with behavioural issues. The Communication and Culture received funds to develop library to encourage reading and improve literacy levels. Again, this year, the development of the PTA community has been put on hold as there were no in person events held in the school during this financial year. |
