Para 1.17 | To relieve the needs of young people entering, or who are in, the care system, and/or who are being cared for by Children’s Hospice South West in particular, but not exclusively by; a) Providing support and activities that the care allowance in unable to cover including, but not limited to, activity days and the provision of personal items. b) Delivery of programmes to develop the skills, capacities and capabilities of young people to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals, which may include activities to assist them to gain employment. c) Supporting children receiving palliative care and their families including, but not limited to, aiding with transport provision and contributing to items. calculated to alleviate their needs. |

This year we have supported a variety of Summer and October half term activities for care leavers in Cardiff via Cardiff Council. They were able to attend the River Wye Canoe Centre, Llangorse Activity Centre, Noah's Ark Zoo and Llandegfedd Watersports. We also provided them with winter care packages to help vulnerable young adults during the colder months. We have raised and donated funds To Empire Fighting Chance in Bristol to support 2 Training with Champions Programmes run by Empire. We have also continued to support Swindon council with care packages throughout the year. |

Without this valuable contribution of time, energy and expertise, we would not have been able to achieve so much. We have had money raised for us by various activities including a sponsored swim. |
