We have provided food parcels for Cardiff Care Leavers and Swindon Care Leavers throughout the pandemic. We delivered a child’s electric car to RUH Bath. | Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | This year we have been able to support Swindon Council throughout by providing one off items for children and families in need. These included washing machines, PE kits, ovens, laptops for home schooling, bunk beds, pushchairs and floor coverings. We provided a children’s electric car for the Royal University Hospital in Bath – for children to be transported to the operating theatre in a less intimidating way. We paid for the Care Leavers in Cardiff to go out for a Christmas meal, so that they could be with others at Christmas and have a hot meal at the same time. We continued to provide food parcels for Swindon Care Leavers and Cardiff Care Leavers, in order to make sure that individuals who were affected financially by the pandemic were still able to have access to food, cleaning products and toiletries. We also supported The Swindon Food Collective, Bristol Food Bank, Tewkesbury Food Bank, Hungerford Food Bank, Cardiff Food Bank, Bath Food Bank and Melksham Food Bank with a pre-Christmas |
