2022
The main activity of this year was
working with primary school
delivering the transition to secondary
sessions. We ran sessions in 20
primary schools and with 2 cohorts in
a secondary school. This work meant
that over 700 primary school pupils
and 20 families have been prepared
for the move between primary school
and secondary school understanding
topics such as the diference between
primary and secondary schools
through discussion, equipped to make
new friends, learning how to read a
school timetable, learnt about
keeping safe whilst travelling
independently, how to manage
owning a mobile phone and how to
handle diference in the amount of
homework issued at secondary
school, as well as the opportunities to
make friends with the new cohort
before September.
