Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Despite a loss of just over £2000, we have
enjoyed a successful year. We have
improved our membership and appointed a
new Co-ordinator who has injected stability
and a range of new ideas and initiatives.
We have enrolled new members who have
all benefitted from the wide range of
activities on offer. Our elderly members
have seen improvements in their mental
and physical health whilst enjoying their
weekly contact with others in similar
circumstances as themselves. Our service
helps mitigate serious issues facing the
elderly thus relieving local services and
giving some respite to families and carers.
Our Monday Club has been an integral part
of our community for over fifty years now
and we are proud of the service we provide
thanks to the hard work of a very loyal
group of volunteers.
