Our services and worship put faith into practice through prayer and scripture, and worship. We have a special prayer and worship services on the 4[th] Sunday of the month, weekly bible studies and various events through the year. Encounter Arena offered a range of services during the week and over the course of the year during the pandemic to uplift and encourage the community through challenging times. For example, through foodbanks provided into the community. This year we held monthly meetings on various topics such as mental health. It is pleasing to be able to report that the new arrangements have been well received since they came into operation. As well as our regular services, we enable our community to celebrate and thank God at the milestones of the journey through life. Through birthday celebrations we thank God for the gift of life, in marriage anniversaries blessing and through bereavement counsel support services for friends and family.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
When COVID-19 hit in March, we developed dedicated coronavirus advice pages on our website and social media services.
The pastoral Care was critical this year through prayer for loved ones, counselling services. Though the pastor and trustees could not visit members we made sure we formed a network of support to keep in constant communication and checking on each other’s well-being.
Our members are to be congratulated on their outreach and fund-raising contributions to our covid-19 community project with donations and giving their time to enable us to reach others with the gospel message. We were able to help homeless communities and women shelters, hostels and other organisations with food banks. We also supported local charities in the area during the Christmas period and local their families affected with unemployment.
