22ftJTf2024, 1*.22 M Gmail Flnanclal Revlew 22 Juty 2024 at 19..20 Dear Claire, In respect of the financial informats'on you have provided. I can say wlthin my own èxpèrience aTh knowledge of charity accounting. that the treatment of the income and expendrtvre ha5 been correct throughout the whole period in question. As a general overvlew, In which l am sure wju're aware of, Charitable Bodle5 are governed and given set rules to present their financial Informatr'on. The main difference in the presentation bein8 the funds albcaDon between restricted. uniestrirted and restricted captial funds. With the U5.5, l Jm basin8 thls opinion ol the fact that all fund5 received by the nvrsery would be used for the chiklren and nothing more. Things such as tables. chairs and a property to operate out of are an extension of ihe main school and therefore not withln the possession of the nursery. With this in mind, all income and expenses I have reviewed direct relate to the requirements of the chlldren and thefefofe net off into one fund. The lack of complexity thereforè slmplifies matters 8reatlv. As thls Is an infomèl oplnion, I would also like to bn.ng to your attentton the trustee report that you now musi submit due io breaching certain threshdds. Should you wani me to read over ihis. I would be happy io prior to submission. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. Very best regards David Hedges
